We are in the anchovy season 2021.
This year, the anchovy season has been brought forward in dates compared to previous seasons.
The 2020 season was atypical, as the coronavirus pandemic caused a significant delay. Thus, while in 2020 the first catches arrived in April, this year they were in early March.
From Asturpesca we remind you that we are certified to distribute MSC certified anchovy, which accredits the sustainability of the catches. MSC is the most internationally recognized environmental and sustainability standard for extractive fishing.
The campaign is being very positive in terms of volume of catches.
